Writer's Block: Home Remedies

Only had it once, ten years ago in Scotland. Whiskey Mac. Nothing beats it. Can't find Stone's Ginger Wine in the States. I can't afford to fly to the UK just for this drink so I guess I'm to remain bereft the rest of my days.

Crabbie's green ginger wine is my preference - Stone's is an English brand. I know that Crabbie's can be found in some import stores in the US.

Crabbie's now make a ginger beer - an alcoholic ginger beer - which is superb. (not very alcoholic but very tasty)

I'll have to look for Crabbie's then. Stone's was the only brand that I could find in my searching online but it still can't be found. Only one liquor store in my range carries mead; I splurge once in awhile, though nothing will ever measure up to that bottle of Moniack mead I bought at the little shop on Skye. I think we frightened the girl there, a bunch of Yanks descending like locusts from the ferry!
