Opinions, please

I got a china cabinet from Freecycle. It was free. It's quasi-Oriental, with moulding aong the top that resembles bamboo, and wicker-ish door fronts. So, to make it a bit more my taste, does anyone have any suggestions what color or treatment I should do to it? I tend to prefer traditional, clean classic decor, not big on the Victorian, overly ornate look. So, what do you think?
