Halfway through vacation

So, that list of places I wanted to do and see? All done, except MK Rawlings home and I'll probably do that one morning next week. For a peek at all my pics I've been taking, have a look at my Flickr page. No, I didn't take over 1,000 pics in the past week, only about 300 or so. For just a taste though, here is my favorite from St. Augustine.

Come on, vacation!

I'm taking the week after my birthday off from work and I am so ready. I may not do a damned thing while I'm off, but that's okay. I'm thinking of a day trip or two, maybe St Augustine because I love the city, maybe head off in a different direction another day, maybe the Okeefenokee Swamp with the camera. I'm hoping it might be a bit cooler by then, but with the heat and humidity the way it has been, the weather may not break before the beginning of November.

Why do I still live in Florida? Oh yeah, my parents. And David's parents. And the fact I'd freeze to death much further north. And I don't know how to drive in the snow (and don't want to have to learn).
