I'm always up for a good vampire movie. It remains to be seen whether this will be one of them.

This list fluctuates but covers a range of what I listen to. There's so much more...

Eagles- Desperado
A Loreena McKennitt cd- probably The Mask and the Mirror or The Book of Secrets
Paul Thorn- Mission Temple Fireworks Stand
Paula Cole- This Fire
Seven Nations- The Factory
Vivaldi- The Four Seasons, Nigel Kennedy featured
The Weepies- Hideaway
Bonnie Raitt- Luck of the Draw
Medieval Baebes- Mistletoe and Wine
Marc Cohn- self-titled
[Error: unknown template qotd]Samuel Clemmons/Mark Twain. To hear the man who wrote great American classics read his own works, like Tom Sawyer or The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County would be more fun that I could imagine.

[Error: unknown template qotd]My freezer does have a light...
[Error: unknown template qotd]A society of werewolves, living alongside humans, but unknown to us.
[Error: unknown template qotd]I can't imagine a world without the ST universe as a part. The vision of a future where mankind has finally learned to live together gives hope, and the show(s) itself fodder for scientific avenues and hordes of popular culture references and comedy routines.

The only television show that died and went to heaven.
[Error: unknown template qotd] T shirt and jeans, comfy shoes. I'm not very exciting...
[Error: unknown template qotd] Here in LJ, catching up with friends; in the Ladies of Lallybroch Literary forum, where we post and crit each other's writing; Facebook, also keeping up with old friends; LOL Cats; Flickr; my community college website when I'm taking classes.
[Error: unknown template qotd]Firefly, of course. Fox royally screwed this show over, it had an amazing ensemble cast, it really could have been phenomenal and it was, despite the poor treatment. It could have gone so many places. Of course, I'm much rather it come back for more than just one season...

Because I have no imagination.

My characters in my newest story are giving me little glances of scenes, but not answering the biggest issue I have with them right now. What would be enough to almost break them up? I've got a lovely little reunion scene all set up and some ideas as to why they really called a time-out, but I need something to spark it. An encounter with her ex-husband? Something stupid and trivial like most relationship arguments get started? Aaarrrgggghhhhhh!!!!!

Daniel and Valerie aren't helping me at all...
[Error: unknown template qotd] My favorite fictional chacater (not written by me anyway) is Scout Finch, from To Kill a Mockingbird. She's such a resourceful, smart kid and brave too. No one else would go up on the porch in front of Boo Radley's house.

The fictional character that bugs me most could go one of two ways; Ignatius J. Reilley from A Confederacy of Dunces or Holden Caulfield from Catcher in the Rye. While I didn't hate the first book so much, the character was irritating as hell, whereas I despised CitR and Holden Caulfied for just being such a spoiled jackass.
[Error: unknown template qotd] Zoe Alleyne Washburne, Firefly. I love how confident and straightforward she is, gorgeous and deadly, all at once.
Kaylee is probably closer to my real personality (except she's not nearly bitchy enough). But Zoe is who I'd want to be.

Teleportation. It pretty much eliminates the need for flying or being invisible; if discovered just *jump*.
Hey, Nightcrawler is a cool dude...
[Error: unknown template qotd]When I was a teenager, my parent's porch was wood-panelled and, being in Florida, we had roaches. BIG roaches. Big FLYING roaches (That detail will be important later).
I would go on a killing spree from time to time, spraying with mad glee, trying to exterminate as many as I could without poisoning myself. One of the bastards, in a kamikaze attack, flew at my head. I ducked, make the appropriate girly-screechy sounds and continued my murderous quest for a few more minutes. A little while later, I was in the bathroom, getting ready to take a shower. I step in front of the mirror and what do I see? That nasty FLYING cockroach waving his antennae merrily at me... from atop my HEAD!!! More robust, primal screams were uttered, brining my mom into the bathroom to see what was killing me. I had, by this time, vaporized the errant insect and Mom had a good chuckle out of the deal.

[Error: unknown template qotd] I'm a good listener/support. I'm also good for entertainment value. Eons of being shy have resulted in a self-defense mechanism that mostly consists of my babbling inanely, but it gets people to laugh, and occasionally blow Diet Mountain Dew out their noses.
How did you spend summers when you were a kid?

I was an only child so I had to entertain myself a lot. I played, caught minnows in the ditch in front of our house, played in the woods. Most summers Mom and I would go to Grandma's for what I affectionately refer to as my summer of slavery. Grandma had a garden and we were pressed into service to pick and shell peas, butterbeans and harvest whatever there was out there. I played with my cousin more than anything.
