And I mean that literally. Today was the beginning of week 3 (count 'em, 3) in large animal radiology. The majority of what comes through is horses, which I love, but not to radiograph so much. But today's joy was in having to take films of a sheep and an enormous Boer goat. Large. Male. With HUGE danglies. And I was able to smell him the second he walked into my room, and I was still outside the room. At least he was good and I managed to get the films the clinicians were looking for. But, even though I washed my hands two or three times before I left work, I could still smell him on my hands. Ewww....

And on the writing front, since I have put aside my werewolf story to percolate for awhile, Rayne has started demanding attention again. I must have written five pages or so just yesterday. Rayne's in the Ryssan chapterhouse now, Castigan is still after her and suddenly I start getting hints of what is going to happen in the big battle toward the end of the story! Geez! See what happens when you ignore a character for a month? They get all demanding and stuff. If they were real people it would be annoying as hell, but since they are only in my imagination it's actually very cool. If I never publish a word of this story, Rayne and her friends and family will still be a huge part of my life.
