Aimless and wandering

I helped radiograph an elephant. I've never been closer to one than the audience in a circus so I wasn't sure how I'd feel about being on the ground with such a large animal. But Judy was a good girl, her handler was great and we got the images of her leg we needed. SHe was being a bit playful and would take her handler by the arm with her trunk and drag him from place to place. She would take my hand and put my hand where she wanted to be scratched. I got over being ga-ga over the weird animals we get from time to time, mainly because of the accompanying hoopla and disruption to our work day they cause. But this was cool. I could do this again.
