Fay is dawdling along westward about 2 mph. We haven't gotten heavy rain, mostly a drizzle here at Casa de Matlack, but I can hear the wind rushing through the trees. UF has decided to close tomorrow so I have an unexpected 3 day weekend. Score! Tomorrow will likely be blustery and damp as she continues to wander across our peninsula. As long as the power hold out we should be good.

If I see animals pairing off, *then* I'll start worrying.

Just make sure they get on the right ark. I watched a reasonably ok, maybe bad movie, on SciFi recently abotu Noah building two arks. One had evil monsters. ;-)

I hope Fay goes away. I've seen parts of Florida on the news that are covered by water.

So far, so good...

No pairs of critters, regular or evil (I think I've run across some of the ones that came off that other Ark in my work!;-)
Right now, the rain is just a drizzle and the winds have calmed enough that I saw a butterfly visiting my milkweed earlier. Rain is supposed to continue today and into tomorrow. That's okay, we need the rain.
