...is NOT the song I plan to use. Yes, I'm working on my soundtrack for my as-yet unfinished novel. I'm just obsessing over something that is silly, but you know what they say about idle hands, well, same goes for idle minds.
What I'm looking for is a sexy song, but not overly blatant, hence the avoidance of Barry White or Marvin Gaye tunes. I have a vast collection of music on iTunes and can get pretty much anything. What I'm looking for can be a recognizable standard, an obscure indie-rock/pop song, whatever anyone knows that might fit the bill. It's the backdrop for the reunion scene for Valerie and Daniel, for those of you familiar with my characters. Yes, it does evolve into a love scene, a somewhat graphic one as a matter of fact. Right now, the song I'm using is "Feelin' Love" by Paula Cole. While I like that song, it's just not doing it for me anymore. Maybe I've played it too much. Anyway, I'm open to any suggestions. You don't have to be a writer, just like music. And if anyone wants to read the scene in question, to get an idea of the mood I've set, let me know. I'm happy to pass it along (and get feedback too, if you are so inclined)
That is all.

It's on my playlist on my Ipaq.
For some reason, I've found "Crash Into Me" by Dave Matthews to be really sexy. Going through my Itunes playlist. Woman in Chains by Tears for Fears, I love All I Want is You by U2, Ice Cream by Sarah McLachlan, hmm. Some Van Morrison tunes are good. Bet I didn't help one bit.

Which I'm not sure what that is, exactly.
But I'll know it when I hear it.
I think.
